Barley's Nov 28, a sucessful Sound Off set, and coffee in downtown Maryville
Hey y'all!
The Pines have been busy little bees lately. First, we have a great great show coming up at Barley's in the Old City on November 28. That's a Sunday, so the show starts an hour earlier at 8pm. We'll have our friends Mark and Kami from Archaic Smile sitting in with us for a song, and we'll also have our friend Pierce on drums throughout the night. Show is free, and there's always a great great drink special on tap at Barley's.
Second, we had an excellent showing at the Sound Off competition at the Square Room. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support us! We also want to thank the Square Room, the judges, and the sound team for their hard work.
Third (for our Blount County friends): did you know there's a new coffee shop in Maryville? Vienna Coffee House moved in last month on High St near the courthouse, and they are just plain awesome. The space is cozy, the coffee invigorating, and the conversation lively. Best part is we'll be doing a free show there on November 13 (this Saturday)! Show starts at 8pm. This is a very rare chance to see us outside of Knoxville.
And finally, thanks to Steve Wildsmith who is writing a story on us for the Friday edition of the Daily Times! Be sure to check it out!
That's all for now, look forward to seeing you soon.
